Christmas Eve we have a tradition of going to the movies with Grandma Suzanne and Papa Bob. We went and saw Alvin and the chipmunks shipwrecked.....the kids loved it! We opened presents and the big kids all got iPod touches....they were freaking out! They all had the same sized box and Hayley opened hers first and was dying. It was great! They other kids started screaming and ripping open theirs...pretty awesome! Sadie was super excited about her Hello Kitty Razor scooter too! Later that evening we had grandma Patsy and Tata Nufi and family over....Nix got a play table which is perfect for his new standing skills and Sadie got a dress up trunk full of super cute dress up clothes and accessories. All in all Christmas Eve was crazy....not sure how Santa is going to top that!

Paige's Violin Concert

For 5th Grade music Paige decided to go with the violin....tonight was her concert at Highland High School. She did amazing! There were so many people and so many kids, you really can't see her in the pictures :-( but we got one of Sadie watching Paige

Christmas Tree

As I started to post this I am super bugged....this is the only picture I took...REALLY!!! How can a mom of 5 kids not take any pictures of one of the biggest traditions this family has....LAME is all I can say! On Tuesday night we hit 5...yes 5 Christmas tree lots and came home with empty handed, no tree...yep this is a first for the Bond's. We went back to 1 lot which was getting a shipment on Thursday and probably got the biggest tree we have ever had. It was 12 feet tall and massive....our tree stand could not even hold this thing up. It fell over twice in the living room and took me, Ryan, and Riley to drag it in from the truck. Ryan had to use tie down straps to keep it standing upright. Even with all the drama, 5 places, 2 nights and no pictures to show the madness.....it was still all worth it. At one point through in the process of the tree falling over in the living room and spilling a 44 ounce Dr. Pepper (wonder whose that was...hee hee) Ryan said this will make someone want to buy a fake tree. :-)

Hope and Tatum


Sadie is in a playgroup with 8 of her closest 3-year-old friends...its so cute and fun for the girls! This week was our week to host and we invited our cousin Tatum. We made red and green wreaths, ate PB&J sandwiches and apples, played house, played outback on the tramp and even decorated cookies...not too many of those made it home :-) I am super grateful for great friends who are willing to do this play group...I think its great for all of the girls!
