Happy 6th Birthday Hayley!

She was 18 months old in this pic..Happy Birthday baby!

Who doesn't love build a bear?

Two of Hayleys good friends

Sophie, Hallie and Hayhay at PPP!

Money case for the DVD player.

The portable DVD player...awesome!
Rainbow chip is her favorite cake...yummy mine too!

Hayley has been my baby for so long I can hardly believe she is 6 already...where does the time go? She has grown up so much this year! It feels like yesterday that I gave birth to this sweet little girl. She started full day kindergarten and absolutely loves it. It is funny to see this little girl worried about getting out the door by 7:30 so she can play on the playground when last year we hung out all day together with no worries. She is going to be a great babysitter and mother one day, she loves to take care of Sadie. She is totally a people pleaser, she will always help Riley and Paige with their chores or give up something she has to make them happy! We love you hayhay!
She wanted to have a party at Peter Piper Pizza for her birthday so on Saturday we did that and then on her birthday we went out to dinner Chick-fil-A (her favorite place).

I love you Edward!

TWLIGHT...So I braved the crowds with some friends to see this movie on opening night or would that be considered morning...since I didn't get home until 2:30 a.m. Anyway I have read the first book and half of the second...I know I am behind but I am having a hard time getting through the second book with Jacob. Anyway, the movie was so stinking good! When it started I was a bit disappointed because I didn't think Edward was nearly as cute as I had made him up to be in my mind after reading the book but about 30 minutes into the movie I was in love...sorry Ryan...I think I might become a vampire! :-) Go see it if you haven't!

Alterations

This has got to be the funniest story that has happened to me in a long time...today I took Riley and Paige to get a couple of pairs of pants altered. They both seem to be growing bigger, just not taller, crazy bond genes :-) Anyway after they tried them on and the seamstress marked them, Riley calls me into the dressing room....a little freaked out, he wore the pants he was getting altered there? Hysterical...he had nothing to wear home. He had to streak out to the car from the place. So he is just chillin in his undies on the way home and there were a couple of kids on bikes from the school so I asked Riley if he wanted me to roll down the window so he could say whats up to his friends and he was so embarrassed...he said, "you are so dumb, just go". I was laughing so hard I could not contain myself....sorry Riley. In a few years, when I reveal this funny story to a girlfriend it will be much funnier :-) I dropped him off at home because I had to take Paige to tennis and I purposely pulled barely into the driveway so he had to streak across the driveway. Ryan was in the garage working on his dirt bike and was like, "what was that?" When I told him we were hysterically laughing....it was so funny. Riley I am glad you have such a laid back personality and you laugh at funny situations like this.

School Pictures 2008-09

BTW...I could not scan the pictures in at Walgreens because they are professional pictures so I had a friend take a picture of the picture...they actually turned out pretty good, thanks Judy.

Okay - The highly awaited 2008-2009 school picture. Riley could have cared less about taking a picture. Paige had her outfit picked out the night before and made me curl her entire head of hair (took close to an hour) but when I got the picture you could barely even tell...whatever. Hayley almost didn't even go to school because she was so scared. She had no idea what to expect and so her anxiety got the best of her. She had a total melt down before school but it apparently went fine the picture turned out cute.

Riley-9 years old.

Paige-7.10 years old.

Hayley-a month shy of 6.

Note from Riley

So this morning I was doing my every morning activities, laundry, picking up breakfast, making beds (remaking them after the kids did them), blah blah blah...you get the idea, I am sure no different from every other mother out there....I go to Riley's room to put away some laundry and there is a pile of clean folded laundry and a pile of shirts that needed to be hung up with a note written in blue crayon saying, "can you do it thanks". I was home by myself, Sadie was napping and I was hysterically laughing. The laundry was from the day before and I remember asking him to take it to his room and put it way. I am a chronic not writer, I leave love notes in lunches, honey do notes for Ryan, lists of chores for the kids and notes all over the house to remind me of things....wonder where he got this idea?

Family Pictures

Every year we take family pictures and then pick one for our Christmas card...so I am going to leave you all in suspense on which one we choose but here are some of the better pictures from the over 300 we took...and yes in case anyone with less than 4 kids was wondering it is a nightmare to get everyone ready, happy, to the location on time and smiling. The kids actually did great this year...we walked all around the grounds of this place to get these different shots and they all handled it great! Well worth the time and effort...a picture is priceless.

Directly behind this rock was about a 5 foot drop directly into a waterfall plus we had to hike up a hill with all those bushes you see in the front..the picture turned out cute but I was a little worried if anyone would be taking a dip.

Funny face Sader Love this pic...the photographer photo shopped her buggies, but I didn't know how to do it for the blog.

Riley-9 years old
Paige 7 years 9 months old

Too old to admit to!

Hayley two weeks shy of 6.

bye, bye..

Sadie 9 months

She is going to love this picture in abuot 10 years.

She is so smiley, I love this age!

Wow...where has the time gone. I am so sad my baby is already nine months old. She is totally picky about food now, she pretty much is over the baby food stage and only wants to eat food she can pick up herself of if you give her a spoon with baby food on it she will feed or self or at least try to...I think I clean more of it up off the high chair and the floor than anything. She is weighing in these days at 18.1 a far cry from the 5.5 she used to be :-(. She is 28.5 inches tall and stinking cute. She is starting to do the transfer...from the couch to a toy or from the table to a chair. If I walk out of the room she will super crawl to find me and she is baby talking up a strom. I took the girls to see High School Muscial 3 on Saturday and the attendant came and told me to take her out in the hallway because she was being baby talking too loud. The girls were mortified, I thought it was pretty funny. She finally has a few teeth...about a month ago she broke her front top two and last week she got one bottom one and then today I noticed the other one poking through...she has been totally fussy but she is a trooper!

Fall Baseball

What a bunch of posers...

The big hitter..how cute are those tight pants!

Wow, another season has come and gone! Riley played for a minor team this go round called the Diamond Backs. They were a great team, I think they only lost 2 or 3 games. Riley played catcher every game and he did great. He also played short and second. He had this funny routine every time he came up to the plate...not sure if this is exact but from what I can remember he would tap the bat on the plate twice, point to the outfield, swing the bat around once and then take a practice swing...wow this is a lot of work for a walk...because about 70% of time that is what happens in kid pitch minors. He had a great time and we really enjoyed watching him!

Indian Bend Wash

As a kid my dad would take me up to Scottsdale to Indian Bend Wash and we would rent rollar blades and skate up and down the parks. It was so fun! There was little store along the trail we would rent the rollar blades from and we always stopped at this goffy golf spot and ate lunch. So we took our kids up there last weekend and rode bikes for miles...they loved it and it was good old fashion family togetherness. There were no wrecks like when I was a kid but that is probably for the better since my kids are still a bit young. I was a bit older and we were always racing each other. There are a few parks onlong the way, a skate park, we even stopped and got some lunch. It reminds me a little of mission beach with a line dividing the side walk from north and south bound traffic. Anyway...I had a great time and it brought back fun memories from when I was younger.

Crazy girl!

Give me some real food!
At least she thinks its funny!
Sadie has been eating food for a few months now and she is crazy...she doesn't really want baby food, she only wants people food. We try to feed her baby food first and then we offer her some little finger foods...this is a picture of what she does when you try to feed her baby food...spits it, clinches her mouth shut so you can't put the spoon in her mouth or she just grabs it away from you...this girl is crazy!

Halloween 2008

Sadie the lady bug!
I am almost 9 months, I will stand if I want to!
Nice socks bro...of course he can never find two that match.
Looking good..pirate Paige
At least she has the costume in her hand!

Halloween was another busy day around here...there was the fall festival for church, party's at school, a parade, trick or treating on the block, meeting up with friends an a block party to end the night. Riley was a blow up sumo wrestler, Paige was a pirate and Hayley was a recycled care bear. Hayley was not real into Halloween...she didn't want to wear the costume to the fall festival or to school so she just carried it around. She put it on long enough to go to 3-4 houses, ate the candy and she was over it. It was pretty funny, usually kids are totally into this holiday but not her! Paige was a little unsure of her costume but we got some cute accessories to dress it up a little and she did great! Riley has wanted to be this sumo guy for two years now, last year Party City was sold out but this year we managed to get it! It was pretty funny. Sadie did great through all the festivities except she has learned how to stand up in her stroller...until now we have never had to buckle her it, but oh how the times are changin...she is on the move and as soon as she gets excited, she just stands right up.
