Halloween

yummy

The loot!

Amazing eyes...I have a feeling you will be a heart breaker Nix!

Every year the kids have a party and parade at school. We took Nix and Sadie to make the party rounds. Nix lasted about 5 minutes in the lion costume...way to hot! Sadie lasted about 10 minutes in her costume and then it was over too! None of the big kids wanted pictures taken of what they were wearing...kind of funny no evidence that they were ever kids. Later that night we had a block party (forgot the camera) grilled and I made my traditional loaded baked potato soup in pumpkin bread bowls then went trick or treating...all in all it was a successful Halloween!

Memorial Day at the Cabin

It was a bit windy...check out Paige's hair.

Now that is a face that says I am having fun!

What a good dad...sporting the Baby Bjorn.

We spent the holiday weekend at the cabin...it was nice to get out of the heat and spend a few days just chilling....lots of yummy food, quad rides and games. On Saturday afternoon the kids were getting bored and I needed a serious nap, so Ryan pulled up a treasure hunt app on my iphone and took the kids on a treasure hunt. They were gone for a few hours but had so much fun looking for the treasure....when they found it there was a treasure, but you just signed your name on a piece of paper and left the treasure for someone else to find. This is another reason why I love Ryan so much....he always thinks of fun things for the kids to do.

Not as happy about taking a picture!

Easter morning egg hunt in the backyard...sweet hair do :-)

A little tired and sunburned after baseball all weekend....throwing a fit.

Dad on my iphone super into coloring easter eggs...hee hee

This is our first Easter in a long time that we have been home. We normally go to the Papa Bob's cabin and spend the weekend but due to a baseball tournement we decided to stay home....We colored easter eggs out back, had an Easter Egg hunt Sunday morning and we met a bunch of friends for dinner at the park. The weather was amazing...the food was fabulous and the kids had a great time, we even managed to get in another baseball game at the park as if we have not had enough baseball for the weekend. Anyway it was super fun and Sadie is at a great age for Easter...she loved finding every egg and what was in s

Halloween

Could that bow be any bigger?

In typical Halloween fashion Ryan, Sadie and I hit the party rotation and parade at the school. Riley was a football player, Paige a diva (totally based on her personality of course), Hayley was a ladybug and Sadie was a dancer....They were all so stinking cute especially Sadie who wore a hand-me-down costume from Hayley's 3-year-old dancing career that was short lived :-). On Halloween we hit a few houses on our street and then went to a couple parties in the neighborhood and even a few haunted houses. Sadie was all about the "nandy" as she called. We were trying to get her to stay thanks each time and by the end of the night she would say but not until was to the end of the driveway...I think she was waiting to try it first! No pictures of Riley as he is way to cool to hand with his family at this age. He hung out for the mandatory hour we requested and then he was off with his buddies to hit pretty much every house in the one square mile :-)....Ryan picked him and a few buddies up later and took them to a haunted house which the girls said was so scary!. All in all it was a fun night

Easter 2009

Who got the golden egg? Nice hat papa

Sadie on her first egg hunt
Just before the big egg hunt...looks like Sadie is going to get a head start!

What kind of look is that?

Coloring eggs
On the run...with her makeshift snow attire...its all we had, not real prepared for this weather.

Every year for Easter we go up to dads cabin in Young. This year was no different except the weather did not want to cooperate this year! It was freezing cold and we woke up Saturday morning to rain/snow most of the day. We still colored Easter eggs and tried to keep the kids out of the freezing rain as long as possible but we couldn't keep them in all day. One of the things we love about the cabin is there are acres and acres for the kids to roam, ride quads and play...the rain was kind of a bummer. Anyway the Easter bunny still showed up and kid all the eggs and although no long ride on Saturday we still had lots of fun.

Christmas 2008

Another Merry Christmas at the Bond's! We had papa Bob and Grandma Suzanne over at 3 on Christmas Eve and then Grandma Patsy and her side of the family over for dinner on Christmas Eve. Santa came and we opened presents together in the morning and then we went over to Uncle Brandon and aunt Stephanie's house for lunch and more presents. It was a great year...here are a few pictures of some of our favorite gifts. Grandma Patsy was very funny this year...she ended up with two live gold fish in the white elephant gift exchange and thought it would be funny to leave them on my bathroom counter...real funny mom and she also bought the kids a karaoke machine with ...... count them 5 teeny bopped CD's including Camp Rock and 2-High School Musical CD's. It really is a lot of fun but it sure is loud.

You go girl!

He must have put the snowboard on and off at least 100 times he was so excited and with his season pass to Sunrise he has been tearing it up!

Hayley got a new bike...and yes it is still dark out that is how early they got up.

Santa brought us a new tumbling mat...good job Sader B.

Sadie got a new phone and new shoes...so she can learn to walk.

Ryan and Shelby...trying to wake up.

Good Morning...smiley

Who knew she loved the Jonas Brothers.

Merry Christmas Hayhay.

I think this might be her favorite gift.

The Karaoke machine....American Idol here we come!

Sponge Bob operation...buZZZZ.

Cousins...playing with our new toys.
