Sadie is in a playgroup with 8 of her closest 3-year-old friends...its so cute and fun for the girls! This week was our week to host and we invited our cousin Tatum. We made red and green wreaths, ate PB&J sandwiches and apples, played house, played outback on the tramp and even decorated cookies...not too many of those made it home :-) I am super grateful for great friends who are willing to do this play group...I think its great for all of the girls!

Nix is now on the move and Sadie can't stand it....she loves to hold him, love him (as she calls it), and pretend she is the mom. She is about to push me over the edge and I am sure him too....every time you turn around she is picking him up, dragging him by 1 foot, in his bed waking him up from a nap...AHHH this stage can't be over soon enough. The poor kid just wants to be left alone. I took these pics at 1 of Hayley's soccer games with my phone. Love you both!

Every year the kids have a party and parade at school. We took Nix and Sadie to make the party rounds. Nix lasted about 5 minutes in the lion costume...way to hot! Sadie lasted about 10 minutes in her costume and then it was over too! None of the big kids wanted pictures taken of what they were wearing...kind of funny no evidence that they were ever kids. Later that night we had a block party (forgot the camera) grilled and I made my traditional loaded baked potato soup in pumpkin bread bowls then went trick or treating...all in all it was a successful Halloween!

Today Sadie's preschool went on a field trip to Mother Nature's Farm...They had a super fun punkin patch where the kids got to pick there very own pumkin and sticker it (way better than the paint last year). We went on a hayride, went on they straw maze, jumped on the jumpers, fed the pigs and packed a lunch...for some reason Sadie was so excited to pack her lunch. I think she sees the big kids everyday take their lunch she felt big too! Nix was a trooper on the field trip.
