Tumbling 2009

This year the girls have been taking tumbling once a week for an amazing teacher. She is a bit far from our house but totally worth it. The girls love it and I love that she does not let the girls slack...she makes them work hard and progress. They had there end of the year show and they did great. Both girls have mastered there back bed and pull up from back bend, it was so fun to watch and to watch the older girls who have been at Mrs. Debbie's for a while. Our cousins Kaelie and Mackenzie both took tumbling too and did amazing! We bought the girls roses after the show, Paige was so happy to get the flower she must have said thanks about 5 times. I love how the little things mean so much to them. Congratulations girls you did amazing and I love your leotards....and your cute little buns :-).

We took the kids to the lake for half day and we a brought some friends, the Flake's. The kids had a great time....they swam, tubbed, wakeboarded and ate...I don't know what it is about the lake but everytime the kids get in the boat they have to be eating constantly....good thing I was preppared for 7 kids or we would have been in trouble. Ryan and I wakeboarded and I was so sore the next day, I felt so old! Riley is so close to clearing the wake and the girls are working up the nerve to wakeboarding and just tubbing it up until then. Can't wait for many more trips this summer. Love you guys!

Need a make over?

I have to say I love this girl, she has more style at 8 than I think I will every have, again Ryan's daughter... She is so stylish, it is so fun! This afternoon after school I heard a radio blaring somewhere so as I followed the sound I found this....My so cute 8-year-old with her ipod speakers, ipod, crimper (yes, it is coming back in style so she says), makeup and curling iron rocking out in her bathroom giving herself a mini makeover. I can remember as a teenager listening to the radio as I got ready but at 8 it was adorable and she did a great job on her hair. Maybe one day you will be my stylist Paiger!

What do your kids really think....

I saw this questionnaire on a friends blog and thought it would be fun until I heard some of my kids answers...no not really...I still thought it was fun! It is so interesting to hear how your kids think of you good or bad and where you could use some improvement :-)

Paige gave the most random hysterical answers...I almost could not even take it. She is funny! Riley was convinced he knew me best and kept asking is that what you would have said and Hayley could have cared less...she wanted to go play.

The ready position

Paige signed up for softball again this year....I think this is her third year and she is coach pitch this year. She had a good time but is always worried about how good she can hit the ball. Her team was purple this year and they names themselves the Panthers. My favorite part of the entire season is all of the cheering...Riley's baseball team never does that :-). Girls just have more fun.

On the run...with her makeshift snow attire...its all we had, not real prepared for this weather.

Every year for Easter we go up to dads cabin in Young. This year was no different except the weather did not want to cooperate this year! It was freezing cold and we woke up Saturday morning to rain/snow most of the day. We still colored Easter eggs and tried to keep the kids out of the freezing rain as long as possible but we couldn't keep them in all day. One of the things we love about the cabin is there are acres and acres for the kids to roam, ride quads and play...the rain was kind of a bummer. Anyway the Easter bunny still showed up and kid all the eggs and although no long ride on Saturday we still had lots of fun.
