A little tired and sunburned after baseball all weekend....throwing a fit.

Dad on my iphone super into coloring easter eggs...hee hee

This is our first Easter in a long time that we have been home. We normally go to the Papa Bob's cabin and spend the weekend but due to a baseball tournement we decided to stay home....We colored easter eggs out back, had an Easter Egg hunt Sunday morning and we met a bunch of friends for dinner at the park. The weather was amazing...the food was fabulous and the kids had a great time, we even managed to get in another baseball game at the park as if we have not had enough baseball for the weekend. Anyway it was super fun and Sadie is at a great age for Easter...she loved finding every egg and what was in s

Cousins...Sadie and Tatum

Our four banshee's...Paige, Sadie, Hayley and Riley...freezing!

Well its mid March and we have officially taken our first lake trip of the season. It was a 88 degrees and sunny outside but the water was a fridget 57 degree. The kids all jumped in one time and realized how not worth it, it was to get into the that freezing water, crazy kids! Only in Arizona can you be snowboarding on Monday and at the lake on Thursday....love our weather!

Spring Break 2010

Our sweet window...we are always repping our Malibu even with a busted out window!

How cute is she...snowboarder girl!

The worlds greatest indian taco...I would go snowboarding just to eat that for lunch...yummy!
SPRING BREAK:
We went to a friends cabin up in Pinetop with the other Bond's for spring break and took the kids snowboarding and sledding. It was so much fun. Don't have the best pictures as I was not to prepared, my camera battery died on the second day :-(....oh well. It was so much fun and great weather too! The kids and dads snowboarded two days while mom's and babies stayed at the cabin and we all went sleeding one day. There was a huge hill right around the corner from the cabin. They bigger kids and dads made a snowboard jump that was pretty sweet! This was Hayley's first time snowboarding and she was a natural. She took snowboard school for half a day on the first day with her cousin Braden and the two of them were like two peas on a pod. Steph and I drove up for lunch on Monday to watch and they were just getting on and off the lift like nobodies business. It was hysterical....after lunch she was like see ya and grabbed her board strapped in and was gone :-). Paige only snowboarded one day but it came right back to her aside from her getting in and out of the board that is always a little drama. Riley....well he is Ryan's partner in crime to say the least....they hit the snowboard park both days while stopping by the bunny hill to check in on the girls every couple of runs. Ryan of course getting more and more daring as the day went on hit a huge "ball jump" on his last run and hurt his tail bone and split open his snowmobiling scar....how old is he really. At 33 I think its time you take it easy....but I doubt that is coming anytime soon. On the way home, I put the crock pot in the back of the car and Ryan went to close the back hatch and "BOOM" (sounded like a gunshot) the entire back hatch shattered, there was glass everywhere and after we boarded up the window so we could drive home Sadie puked 2 twice in the canyon on the way home. Aside from that we had a great time and it so fun having family to make memories with!

Dress up like a star...

Today was half day before spring break and it was dress up like a star day...Riley went as Shawn White the red headed snowboarder....and Paige went as Taylor Swift. Paige was up at 5:45 asking me to curl her hair and by the time she got home from school at 11:45 it was almost fully flat again (that took me 45 minutes..buggy) but she sure looked cute when she left the house. Hayley not so much interested in dressing up...just wanted to go to school with her pillow and blanket because her class was watching a movie. I think she is quite possible the most low maintenance kid ever. Anyway it was a great day and the kids looked great.

Pinewood Derby

Well not the greatest pictures but I left Ryan in charge as Hayley had soccer practice at the same time so this is what we got....This year's pinewood derby was a little last minute to say the least. The entire month since we got the block of wood Riley had said he was going to use one of his previous 2 cars and just fix them up a bit and with how busy Ryan was he was more than fine with that idea. The night before Ryan was leaving to go out of town Riley decided that it was against the rules to do that and he needed a new car....AHHHHH, Ryan was a little disgruntled to say the least but by 11:30 that night we had a new car which we have no picture of. It was a good car and raced well. The boys had a great time and another year of pinewood derby car making under our belt.

Winter/spring sports

What a great pose...

Hayley, Sadie and Ryan killing time in the car while they wait taking pictures of themselves!
Hayley and Sadie watching Paige's basketball game...so cute!
We have had a busy couple of months with three kids playing sports. Riley is playing flag football with a bunch of kids from his tackle football team. They play great together and are super competitive. They only lost 1 game this season and came in 3rd in the tournament. Riley had some great diving catches for touchdowns and it was super fun to watch him....football is truly one of his favorite things to do! Shocking I know, but after 10 weeks of football I failed to take even one picture...looser mom! Paige played her first season of basketball with WHAM....it was hysterical to watch her play. At the end of the year party she got the award for the most improved because in the first game she got a rebound and didn't know what to do with it so she handed it back to the other team and on the last game she was diving on the ground for rebounds. She improved 100% and we are so proud of her. Hayley is playing soccer for Arsinol enjoying every minute of it.... she is not super aggressive but she is learning some great fundamentals and gets really excited every Saturday for her games. She has improved a ton and last Saturday she was so close to scoring a goal. Sadie chills in her car seat as we go from game to game every Saturday with an occasional errand or birthday party mixed in. She has really been a trooper the last few months especially for her crazy personality.

Ryan's injury...

I took this pic when he got home...after the stitches

poor guy...that had to have been miserable

Every year Ryan takes a trip to Colorado with some customers and his brother to go snowmobiling for a week. He looks forward to this trip every year and has fallen in love with snowmobiling I think. They left Thursday and Friday mid day I received a call from him....hysterical! He had wrecked on the snowmobile and was hurt and obviously in shock by the sound of his voice. He called to let me know that Brandon was driving him to the hospital (which was an 1.5 hours a away..AHHH)....I was so scared. I have never felt so helpless my entire life. Being 12 hours away and not being able to see his leg and take care of him or comfort him...I was a wreck. Ryan does not do well with hospitals or pain medication...not sure why but the thought of going to the hospital was probably worse than the actual injury for him. He had hit a rock on the snowmobile and flew over the handlebars catching his shin on the handlebar which ripped through 2 layers of clothing and then hit the shin and ripped the skin back all the way to the bone. The hospital called this a "blunt trauma wound". The had to close multiple layers of skin since it was down to the bone and since it it was not a clean laceration the scar and stitches look horrible. Once it was all said and done he was fine and happy it was over. The next day I waited for a call saying he was coming home or laying around the cabin but I didn't hear from him all day and of course what was I thinking....hummm every bad thing possible of course. Anyway he finally called that night and he was fine...and guess where he had been all day, you guessed snowmobiling....whatever men have no clue! A little duck tape on his snow pants and he was good to go. I could have beaten him with a stick I was so mad but all in all I am happy he is okay.
BTW - He got his stitches out 2 weeks later 2 weeks and 3 days later he went snowboarding and split open the scar again and hurt his tail bone...anyone else think he is getting to old for this?
