2009 soccer

Hayley pouting because Riley was behind her pretending to push her off
Love the missing tooth look.
Nothing better than taking a picture of yourself right?
Team waiting for their trophies!

Hayley signed up for soccer this year with a couple of her friends and she love it. Her team was like a powerhouse of 5-year-olds. A couple of games the other coaches asked our coach if we could put in our not so good players to give their team a chance but they were all so good. They practiced once a week and then they had a doughnut party after there last game. Hayley scored lots of goals and had so much fun!

Work from home?

Yes, I am crazy and I love it! This face says it all.

This is the progression from the love sac to the desk and then accross.

This is what working from home looks like with a baby....."I just need five more minutes". She crawls on the bean bag and then up on my desk, eats markers, makes messes, pours out my drinks, etc. This girl is CRAZY!

Where have I been?

I know, I know...I have MIA for the past month. Sorry for all of you have been looking for an update or calling. Between working, baseball, softball, soccer, tumbling, activity days, scouts and everything else in between my blog has been suffering. I am going to start getting caught up, I promise!

Sadie injury

Ryan took Sadie on a walk to the mailbox, as he was getting the mail she stepped off a sharp curve not realizing it right to her face on the asphalt. She cut the inside of her mouth with her teeth and blood was everywhere....all over her white shirt (ruined) and all over Ryan's shirt. Her lip was swollen for two days it had this horrible looking white scab inside her mouth that you just knew had to hurt. She couldn't eat on that side for a few days, not to mention how sad she looked. It is amazing how quickly their little bodies heal...this happened last Monday and by Friday you could barely see the scabs anymore...messed up face or not I think she still might be the cutest baby ever!

Leprechaum trap

Every month Riley has to do a family "fun" project and this month he had to make a leprechaun trap....he was so proud of it and this month it really was a group effort (usually it is me making suggestions and then doing them while he sits and watches). Everyone added there advise and Riley made most of it will a little help, Paige even made a box for fun. Great Job Riley!
BTW - is that Ryan in the background still in bed before the kids go to school? Must be nice :-)

Baby in the bath.

I think by the time I have gotten to baby number 4 the schedule of taking a baby every night before bed like all my other kids is out the window. She mostly gets a bath sitting on the bottom of the shower every few days when I get in....horrible I know but that's what happens when you are number 4 (what happens to 5 &6 ryan is convienced he will never know but we will see) anyhoo occasionally I let her take a bath to play and she loves it. She splashes, sands up and sits down and everything in between...I am scared for summer she might be crazy at the pool.

Solo canning experience!

Over the past few years I have canned many things all with the help of my great friend Hope and although I do own my own canner I always go to her house...sorry Hope! I set a gosl of trying to do one get organized/food storage thing per week trying to stay in the $20-30 price range, really this is going out to eat I can sacrifice that right? Hopefully this goal will get my food stoarge built up and my crazy house somewhat organized. Anyway I decided to can hamburger meat and taco meat last week. It was awesome, although I had to call hope about 20 times throughout the process and at one point she even said, "do you want me to just come over" I made it through all on my own and hopefully this weeks experience will go much better. It was actually not that hard to do and we did eat some of the meet on Sunday and it was good....so I am considering this lone voyage a success!
